THE "A" SERIES

The ideal family boat for every occasion, formerly called the Playtime range.

These Ribeyes have “fun” written all over them. Ideal for beach hopping, skiing, exploring, fishing, swimming, snorkelling, or just sun bathing. They are a favourite for every occasion.

The A Series have a genuine deep ‘V’ load-carrying hull, designed to cut through and cushion the impact of the waves, giving a smooth comfortable ride. The smaller models in the A Series are unique in having a deep V hull as most RIBs of this size have shallow hulls. Like all Ribeyes they handle superbly and are easy to manoeuvre at any speed. The A Series are quick on the plane even when fully loaded.

The A Series are practical and safe. They offer a very dry ride and is reassuring and forgiving to drive. It is the ideal boat for the first time RIB owner with limited experience. The integral moulded deck provides a stable platform, with its tough easy to clean, slip-resistant finish.

There are three standard models, with seating, console and accessory options available for them all.

The A Series are fitted with a splashwell. The higher freeboard helps prevent swamping when the RIB is moored or from a following sea. The splashwell also acts as a bathing platform.

As for the engine, with Yamaha the choice is yours.

THE "S" SERIES

Fast, high performance RIBs – great for long distances, formerly called the Sports range.

The Ribeye S Series are pure thoroughbreds.

The design of the 650 and 785 has evolved from the arduous environment of RIB racing. This monocoque deep ‘ V’ hull has proved itself time and again winning many races and championships.

But the S Series are not just spartan racing boats. The present models have been designed with recreation and conviviality in mind. The latest design features a broader beam. This extra room gives a dimension of spaciousness and increases passenger comfort and stowage capacity.

Compared with hard boats and many other mass-produced RIBs, the hull of the S Series is very forgiving, safe and predictable offering an exceptionally comfortable and dry ride.

Handling capabilities are superb which is why the S series has terrific agility and manoeuvrability with exciting full throttle performance.

The S series are also ideal RIB tourers for long distance trips, coast and island hopping, and are totally suitable for family use.

The powerful deep ‘V’ hull is bonded to the moulded, slip-resistant deck forming a true monocoque construction.

The consoles and seats have been ergonomically designed to provide for maximum storage without encroaching on the spaciousness. There is plenty of room to move about.

For sun worshippers the bow will convert into a good-sized sundeck with the addition of a bow cushion.

Both these boats have moulded spray deflectors that give dynamic lift at high speed. The 785 has a unique planing wedge which creates better lateral stability, enhanced turning and precise tracking.

These high performance hulls demand high performance engines. The high powered F250 fourstroke is the natural choice. So head for the open sea.

THE MEDITERRANEAN

The Med 1050 Open Cruiser has an incredible hull, designed by Lorne Campbell and couples high performance with outstanding sea-handling capabilities.

Its generous beam allows for a spacious Mediterranean layout and includes a large sunbathing platform. Long distance journeys can be achieved in comfort as there is a considerable amount of space for seating and eating arrangements.

There’s even the luxury of a WC and shower located in the console. The tube is of a taper design and there is ample freeboard forward while the aft sections are kept lower to ease boarding.

Single or twin outboard configurations are available or Yamaha diesel inboard stern drive engines. Yamaha’s Hydra drive range will impress with their smooth, quiet and supremely reliable performance.

The Med 750 and 650 use the original Ribeye Peter Kidd hull, the forerunner of the present Sports hull, and shares its excellent handling capabilities and manoeuvrability. These two models are configured to a Mediterranean layout and include a sunbed and shower.

RIBTEC CLASSICS

Ribeye is proud to introduce the Ribtec classics to its range. These traditional British models have been demand since the infancy of the RIB industry and are frequently the choice for professional operators as well as leisure users. Ribtec is well known for its range of luxury superyacht tenders, to be found on a number of the world’s most sumptuous yachts, and are now available as “Ribtec by Pascoe”

The Ribtec 740 is the outstanding performer of the larger RIBs offered by Ribtec and is in service with serious RIB users including the UK coastguard and off shore oil industry worldwide. Designed for serious seagoing duties the boat can cover long distances at speed and in comfort. Inboard as well as outboard versions have been successfully proven with this craft and its ability to adapt to any role is second to none.

The Ribtec 655 offers an affordable and practical RIB with outstanding sea keeping characteristics. Big sister to the Ribtec 585, the boat is capable of traveling longer distances with greater payloads and larger fuel and engine capacities. Favoured by professional and private operators the Ribtec 655 gives complete all-round comfort and pleasure.

The Ribtec 585 is the optimum family sized RIB, with a wide beamed deep ‘V’ hull, which is still easy to trail and store. The boat has excellent deck space for a multitude of seating options and with its attractively raised bow, offers dry deep-sea performance. The 585 is also favoured for its strong lightweight hull, ideal for carrying larger loads for diving, survey and other working applications.

The Ribtec 535 is the definitive all-round sea boat. Used extensively by the RYA and other professional and volunteer rescue services, this boat has the ability to be launched and handled by the minimum crew. So successful are the proven qualites of this hull, that it can be found in use worldwide in all working and recreational applications.

The Ribtec 455 is a very compact RIB with an excellent hull giving exceptional sea-keeping and handling qualities. Popular with rescue organisations operating in exposed waters, this tough little boat will give you years of of reliable service.

RIBEYE GRAND TOURER

The performance, handling and safety of one of the world’s finest RIB hulls, with the stay-aboard comfort of a sports cruiser.

A beautifully balanced hull and superstructure have enhanced the performance of a highly acclaimed, professional RIB, the Ribtec 1000 – one of the most respected RIBs in the world. Throughout the world this is the benchmark for professional RIBs having completed ocean crossings and circumnavigation.

The Grand Tourer’s tough all-weather ability belies its awesome performance, with jet like acceleration and top speeds in excess of 60 mph (subject to choice of Yamaha engine).

Whilst the on-board comfort of the accommodation maybe comparable with a small modern sports cruiser, the sea-going ability and performance of the Grand Tourer leaves conventional boats in its wake.

The 950GT delivers a notably superior ride, greater comfort, improved sea keeping and better fuel efficiency than a similarly sized, conventional motorboat; the hull’s buoyancy being provided by the tubes which ride clear of the water until needed in turns or heavy weather.
